Structure Optimization Design of Aircraft Chocks

Abstract: In this paper, explicit non-linear method is used to analyze structure strength of aircraft chock and establish the linear static equivalent model. Based on this model, topology optimization is to find the material distribution , the revised design leads 0.53kg structure weight reduction. Then a size optimization gives a 5.79kg weight loss. Finally an explicit non-linear method is used to evaluate the strength and manifest that the strength meets the requirements. The aircraft chock finally gets 6.32kg weight loss , weight loss percentage is 45.3%. This method can be used in similar structure design.
